Donations and Funding Home

All donations are tax deductible. They are spent directly on the Animals. The

director is not paid.

If you would like to adopt a specific Animal, the cost is as follows:

HORSE.........................$700.00 per year _ $350.00 for 6 months _ $58.00 for one month

ADULT COW OR CALF... $600.00 per year _ $300.00 for 6 months _ $50.00 for one month

All Adoption donations receive an 8 X 10 framed photograph of the Animal of their choice.

HORSES: Snow, Star, Cocoa, Stallone, Caesar, Commanche

ADULT COWS: Scarlet, Raima, Miguelty, Clare, Rosie, Gabriel, Sampson

CALVES: Paint, Tiflany, Ariel, Steffanic

Sources of Funding: All income for this Sanctuary comes from Donations, Grants, and the Board of Directors personal income, and the sale of artwork by the Director. Grant proposals have been written to the William and Charlotte Parks Foundation, the Santa Fe Community Foundation, the Doris Day Animal League, the Bernice Barbour Foundation, and others, for operating expenses for the year 2006. Soon this Sanctuary will be open to the general public, although we are visited quite frequently as it exists. As Director, with a bachelor's degree in Art Education, I intend to offer art lessons and painting sessions, for children as well as adults. This would be a unique opportunity to sketch, paint, or observe animals within their natural habitat, as well as adding additional income for the Sanctuary.
